On February 15, 2026, at the 18th Street Art Center in Santa Monica, a powerful collective installation and performance unfolded around the ritual assembly of Pavuk (Eng. - Spider) , a sacred Ukrainian geometric structure symbolizing universal peace, balance, and unity.
Born from a humanitarian impulse, PAVUK invited an international circle of contributors to send fragments of the Pavuk geometry—emblems of balance, peace, unity, and light. Participants included Natalie Kato, Dark Bob, Ryan Zin, Leilani Atkinson, Liza Holitsyna, Yelyzaveta Churilkina, Oleg Ivlev, Lali Bell, and LA MUDPEOPLE (Mike Mollett, Neal Taylor, Jeff Iorillo, Lorraine Perotta). Diamonds and triangles were ritually assembled by LA MUDPEOPLE, who literally mudded the elements to form a cohesive whole. The on-site performance featured Alina Kalinouskaya suspended for three hours within a spider’s web, guided by shibari artist Christina Sandoval, and accompanied by Lali Bell’s original live music.
Conceived as an emblem of international collaboration for a good cause, the installation demonstrated how unity and collaboration can support Ukraine and bolster humanitarian relief through the Prytula Foundation’s emergency initiatives, including "Light of Ukrainian Hope."
Today, we offer a limited NFT release featuring original documentary photographs and video from the PAVUK installation and durational performance at the 18th Street Art Center in Santa Monica. These NFTs preserve the work as digital collectibles, and all proceeds will be donated to the Prytula Foundation to support its humanitarian programs.
The video component is by media artist Michael J. Masucci, with Lali Bell’s original song “Extraordinary” as performed during the event. The NFT collection is a living record of the collaboration documented by artists Michael J. Masucci, Laurie Yehia, Robert Lowden, and Matthew Ploeger.
PAVUK is an artist-initiated project conceived and led by Alina Kalinouskaya, who developed its core concept and artistic vision, with collaboration from Michael J. Masucci and Olena Yara, who also act as co-curators. The project is supported by Yara Agency. Other credits: Cally Lindle - producer.
Special thanks to Jessi Nole for hair and makeup and Leilani Atkinson for live streaming.
